One of the benefits of being a RASC Vancouver member is access to our loaner telescopes.
We maintain a stock of several high quality scopes which can be borrowed for a one month period. To borrow a telescope, please email our Director of Telescopes. You will need to follow the telescope loan policies and procedures.
Here is an example of the loaner form that will be completed by the Telescope Director and signed by you at time of pick-up. Please note that picture ID (ie BC DL) and your RASC membership number is required for the form. Loaner telescopes are picked-up and dropped-off at the Trottier Observatory after a member’s monthly meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
